Filmmaking is hard, but it’s all I want to do.
With all the moving parts that need to align in order to make a movie, its surprising how many have been made and its ability to endure as a pursuit. This must mean it nourishes those who chase it in one way or another.
The problem solving aspect is addictive and the end result, that feeling of I made something, is worth the chase. This is when I throw away the idea of perfect, for it is the practice that needs to be mastered. The goal is - how can I get that idea out of my head and on to the silver screen with the help of a small dedicated team and then get to do it again.
This is a chase of a lifetime.
My producing work spans television, film and digital media. You can see my work here.
